hinged butter dish shortened

This short one holds half of a standard 4 ounce cube.

I don't need a whole cube sitting on the counter. Sometimes it takes too long to use an entire cube, and butter will eventually spoil at room temperature.

The knife slot is optional. I welded it to the top. https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1807093
A 3D Pen makes a fine welder for small stuff like this.
The knife is a shortened SS butter knife.

I coated this project with paraffin wax. Use a hair drier so the wax penetrates the print, and spreads out. Excess will drip off. It will then repel foods, like butter. The dish can be washed in cool soapy water if required.

Metric STL versions are included. If you have a "tiny" problem, use them.
