This is an example of our 3D printed Hipposandal. It is a 3D printed flexible single piece hoof boot custom made from a 3D scan of the horse's hoof. No glue or nails required.
Each hoof boot needs to be custom fitted to the horse to function properly, if you are interested in getting a set of custom hoof boots made for your horse please contact [email protected]. The 3D file provided is just an example.
The open front toe allows for natural toe rollover, while the 3D print allows for a very lightweight shoe allowing the horse to consume less energy when walking while still providing superior traction and protection in a wide variety of terrain.
Our partner FuzNuz Horse Equipment (https://www.thingiverse.com/fuznuz/designs) performs the 3D scans and models the hoof.
