This is an HO (1:87) scale model of a two-bin corn crib with a drive-through center bay. This style of corn crib is ubiquitous on farms throughout the midwestern Corn Belt. Most were built in the early-mid 1900s, and many are still standing today (though rarely still used for their originally intended purpose). This model was patterned after a prototype in Bureau County in Central Illinois.
