Have you got a (roughly circular) hole that needs to be covered? This model uses a wide plug backed by splayed wings, which can gently be pushed in and won't slip out by accident. The dimensions of the model fit a hole left by whoever installed the boiler in my house but, if you download the .scad file, you can adjust the parameters to fit. Set the plug radius to be wider than the hole, the riser to be a little narrower and the splay on the wings to be enough that they need to be squeezed in just a little to push the blocker in. The light tension will hold it in place but it can be removed if you need access in future (zoom into the picture and you will see the brick dust which shows that I have done just that). The print orientation means the blocker is relatively fragile although being thicker near the base of the wings improves it over the first draft. However, if you treat gently, it should work a treat.
