Holiday Cryptex

UPDATE 1/22/15 I have printed out the new design and uploaded pictures. The printer made the rings a little taller than .400" so I sanded them down on each side. I then assembled the rings on the tube and glued the end piece on by applying a very thin layer of super glue on the inside edge of the caps rim. It is a little difficult to turn one ring at a time and it is delicate but it works. UPDATE 12/31/14 New design has been uploaded, including a stp file if you want to modify. All wall thickness has been dropped to .040 and it now requires glue to attach the left end after the rings have been put on. Total project is 7 cubic inches of material. 6.8" x 3", Internal Diameter is 2.5". ___ This is my take on the Cryptex from the 10 Days of Kwanzaa or Whatever. After printing all 18 pieces I would suggest tapping the holes in the outer slide. Assembly with 4x 2-56 flat head screws. Rough dimension 8" Long x 4" Diameter Enjoy!
