Hollow Chalice with Solid Stem (How-To)

Here's an example of how to draw a contour for the chalice lathe that results in a hollow model - see the screenshot. This is a good way to control the exact shape of the interior of your cup. It should also be useful if your software isn't conducive to printing a solid model without any top layers.

If you design a chalice this way, print it with whatever infill and top layers you deem appropriate! I hope this example is helpful.
