My wife was in charge of a day camp this year, and she wanted some hanging bee ornaments to decorate the building. We had different colors for each group, so my idea was to make the bees wings, stripes, etc. match the group colors. There is also a small hole above the bee center of gravity, so they should hang nice and level using the provided hole.We also scaled some up to have a “queen bee” for each group. I think it was close to 300%. These bees are made to be printed as two (or more) separate colors, which assemble together without needing any glue or fasteners. Print time is about one hour per bee. Assembly guide is attached. Also note that the two larger stripes are close to the same dimensions, but I made one stripe (and its groove) thicker than the other to help tell them apart. Since I made over 150 of these for the camp, I used a sharpie to mark the inside of the middle stripe when they came off the printer so I could tell them apart easily without having to measure.
