I built a simple brush holder because I couldn’t find a design that let me store multiple brushes horizontally.I wanted a horizontal layout for two main reasons:First, brushes dry better this way. Storing them vertically can cause water to seep into the ferrule, which eventually weakens the glue and damages the bristles.Second, it makes it easier to see and grab the brush I need. I usually use one brush per color, so having them laid out in front of me helps me quickly spot which brush has which color without mixing things up.
