This bracket was designed for the [KIT-HGDRONEK66](https://www.nxp.com/applications/solutions/industrial/aerospace-and-mobile-robotics/uavs-drones-and-rovers/nxp-hovergames-drone-kit-including-rddrone-fmuk66-and-peripherals:KIT-HGDRONEK66), which is based on the _LJI X4 500_ quadcopter frame. It was built as part of the [Guardian Angel](https://www.hackster.io/sjvincent/guardian-angel-90dd83) submission for the [HoverGames Challenge 1: Fight Fire with Flyers](https://www.hackster.io/contests/hovergames) challenge.
The purpose of these two brackets is to securely mount the GPS antenna and telemetry radio, in an improved way compared to the [NXP HoverGames](https://nxp.gitbook.io/hovergames/userguide/assembly/top-plate-gps-telemetry-and-fmu) instructions. The standard way to mount the GPS antenna is to orientate the base in a '+' fashion, using 3 screws to secure it to the drone's top plate.
