An even layer of reflective material is stretched over the "ribs" of the balloon. The balloon must be of sufficient thickness to withstand inertial bending. Mass depends on the material and size of the balloon. Solar panels will have to be placed separately on the rover. Folding and unwrapping the balloon did not show. The balloon won't fold, it's just a looped animation.
