** 10/13/2018 - Updated the Breakout Box to allow for better ventilation. The original version is still in the list of files for those who want to use the original. **
This is a breakout box mount and clamshell for the HTC Vive. This has been designed to attach to a 120mm fan location on the PC. The clamshell is designed to easily slide in and out of the breakout box. I have also included chamfers on the edges of the mount to allow for better airflow around the mount.
The short version was not designed to fit anything specific. It was added to accommodate those people who just want to wall mount it.
**Additional Hardware Required**
- HTC Vive
- 6 x M3x12 Hex Socket Head Cap Screw
The assembled clamshell should allow the HTC Vive connectors to line up with the breakout box connections. I have printed and tested this with no alignment issues. However, I am not responsible if your print is misaligned due to your printer org code and damage is caused to your 3-way cable. Use
