Hubble Projector

The Hubble space telescope was the first in orbit observatory launched in 1990 and still active today. Hubble is the only telescope designed to be maintained in space by astronauts. Five Space Shuttle missions have repaired, upgraded, and replaced systems on the telescope.

For the perfect build… (optional) … you will need the following items

*18 8mmx2mm magnets if you wanna take it back apart
Glue of your choice
*200mm Concave lens this will allow projector to broadcast bigger
Some sort of light source
I've had good luck with tea lights and single LEDs
Multiple LEDs can distort the image disc, but that may be what your looking for
Make your own projection discs

Just make a disc with a 49.5mm diameter and height of 2mm
Blank disc in raw model files
I printed mine with only one wall

Gray, Silver, White, Gold, Red, Black
