This U-Skip is based on pictures from a 1920's Hudson catalogue.
The skip is designed to 16mm:ft scale to run on 32mm gauge track.
You'll need print four wheels and bearing parts, two ends and supports and one chassis and body.
If you want the wagon to be functional the bearing holes in the bearings should be lined with short lengths of brass tube, I used K&S tube with an internal diameter of 1/8th, external diameter 5/32nd. I used 1/8th steel or brass rod for the axles.
The body printed well with support and cleaned up nicely with simple sanding.
Covering with deluxe model's Scenic Rust gives a great final texture.
There are two variants of the body, One a U-shape for use underground, the other is a more open V-shape for surface use.
The body prints best upside down with supports and a raft. The rest of the pieces don't need support and will print well without a raft.

Hope you enjoy this.
