Hummingbird Battery Base

The original designer gzumwalt's excellent model (see source link at left) did not have a place to put the battery that powers the motor, so I designed this battery holder sub-base using Autodesk Fusion 360. The original base slides right into the new sub-base.
Leave the power wire to the motor long enough so the base can be removed from the sub-base to change the batteries. The extra wire can be tucked back into the sub-base when it's closed back up.
The only other parts needed are a small toggle switch and a 4 cell AA battery holder - i used Jameco #105858:

Use hot glue to attach the battery holder to the sub-base, or you can just leave the battery holder loose.
