Hunter Ceiling Fan Remote Wall Mount

When I purchased our Hunter Ceiling fan I did not realize that it operates exclusively from the remote and the wall switch for the light doesn't turn the light on. So walking into a dark room and not knowing where the remote is can be a problem. The solution is this wall mount for the remote. I designed this so that the remote fits into it snug but can also be removed easily when desired. The holes are countersunk for screws that typically accompany plastic drywall inserts which have a smaller head than a drywall screw. You will want to check that the screw fits down into the countersunk hole and the pan head is flush. If you are not sure, drop the screws in the holes while holding the mount flat and insert the remote. The remote should fit with just a slight push. To remove, you can lift it out with a fingernail under a button opening in the remote.
