These are clips that can be printed and attached to plywood that can be used to help secure it in the frame if a window. There are products out there that are sturdier, made of metal and stronger, but they were all out. If anything those products on a strength rating are a 10 out of 10 and PLA strength rating is a 2 out of 10... 3 at most. But if you print a lot of them they will get the job done.
Now these you do not shove them back into the frame as you would their metal counterparts. you place them on the edges of the plywood, you can secure them down with screws or not.... you can edit them down so it is closer to the thickness of the plywood you do have. But after they are arrayed on your plywood you take the pronged end of the clips and bend it so that they grip into the sides of your window frame. Ye you do need to print a lot of them for a small or medium window, but it can help you protect your house during the oncoming storm.
