WHAT:
This is a version of the Dual Bushing Holder for Tech2C's Hypercube 3D Printer. I recreated the bushing holder in Fusion 360 and added a parameter for the hole that the bushing is pressed into.
WHY:
IGUS bushings in the iglidur J series, like the JSM-1012-10, are manufactured to be an E10 to H7 press fit. This means that they are slightly oversized and the inner diameter of the bushing is not within tolerance until it is pressed into a hole of the correct size. The tolerance for the hole that a JSM-1012-10 will be pressed into is "0 +0.018mm." This means that the hole in the bushing holder needs to be no less than 12.0mm and no more than 12.018mm in diameter. You'll likely have to adjust the size of the hole slightly in order to get a dual bushing holder that is within tolerance. I recommend printing it at 12mm, measuring the part and adjusting as necessary. Alternatively, if you have access to a metal milling machine, you could machine yourself some bushing holders that ar
