This is still a prototype! I have included the STEP files for you to modify. Please do not blindly copy my Duet Wifi 2 configuration, it is tailored to my specific use case.
I could never get consistent extrusion from my HyperCube Evolution and decided to convert it over to a direct drive machine. After many revisions I ended up with this design. The original HEVO is built very compact so parts of the prototype print head would impact the Z rod and Z bearing holders. If you are starting from scratch, I suggest that you add 10-15mm to the X and Y extrusion/linear rods to accommodate large print heads. I had to modify several components to maintain my 300x300x400 print volume and to avoid buying new extrusions.
The new print head uses a Bondtech BMG extruder going to a standard E3D hotend. You also need a short 20mm pancake extruder motor and a radial fan for this design to work. I have added a file for a 10 and 18mm inductive probe. I held the parts fan in with a little melted fila
