The clips to hold on the car shell are very fiddly and take a long time. The shell needs to be removed regularly to change batteries so this can be pretty annoying. This quick print creates a couple of brackets to hold 18 disc magnets (6mmx2mm) that mount onto the existing mounting posts. This raises the shell by ~3mm and is strong enough to lift the whole car off the ground with the magnetic force, but it still relatively easy to remove. If you arrange the magnets in an alternating polarity it also has a very satisfying “snap” into place that makes it easy to align the shell and mount it in just a few seconds. I used a small dot of superglue to attach each magnet and to attach the brackets to the shell and the frame. A small dot can make a nice strong connection that can be broken later if you want to remove the magnets. Feel free to use the D6x2 magents from the bambu store
