IC Pin Straightener

IC Pin Straightener for .3 and .6 spaced ICs.

instead of threading the middle, I remixed for a different size hole in order to use M3x5x6 threaded knurled inserts.

IC pin straightener tool for both 7.62mm and 15.24mm wide DIP packages - from 8 pin to 40 pin packages.

What to print:

1x middle part
2x border part

What tools you need:
wire cutter
M3 tap
screwdriver (inbus or what screws you use)

What else you need:
2x ballpen spring (max. 5mm diameter)
4x M3x12mm inbus (or similar screws)
2x M3x5x6 Threaded knurled brass heat inserts

Assembly:
cut two threads in middle part
cut both springs in half and insert them into inner holes in border parts
insert screws into outer holes in border parts
insert M3 brass threaded inserts using soldering iron with insert attachment. Ensure inserts are flush on each side of middle part.
