ICE PACK FOR BOTTLEI live by the sea. I want cold water, especially in the later hours when I am at the beach. Sometimes there is no place around where I can buy it. That's why I made this design. ice pack for bottle. There is an ice chamber inside its body. After printing, you need to fill water from the back, close the screw and seal it. You can use liquid gasket for this. I also painted it with silver, which is a reflective color.I would like to tell you a few more details about the design. I believe that the infill feature in 3D printers is useful for thermal insulation. That's why I tried to increase the thermal insulation by keeping the outer part thick. We all know that water expands when it freezes. I designed it in such a way that there will be enough space when you fill the hidden ice chamber with water, so that it will not expand and break the chamber while freezing. After printing and preparing my design, I put it in the freezer with the lid open. A few hours later, I put a 0.5 liter bottle of frozen water in a shaded place with an ambient temperature of 30 degrees and closed the lid. When I checked 7 hours later, it was still cold and there was some ice in the bottle. You should use ABS instead of PLA because the heat in the sand at the beach is high. I recommend it to be food grade ABS. If you are concerned that there may be a water leak. Fill and empty the hidden ice bin with acetone. This is valid for ABS material. It will make the inner surface smooth and bond the layers together more strongly. After pouring the acetone from the chamber, do not forget to wait for it to dry and harden.I printed it with 10% infill at 50mm/s speed and 0.2 mm layer thickness. To avoid any problems with the MAIN BODY, I printed at 60% speed for the first few hours and then at full speed. It took about 39 hours.MAIN BODY: 38 hour 38 minCAP: 11 Hour 5 minSCREW: 40min
