ICOM-2730 HEAD MOUNTING BRACKET

This is a mounting bracket for the ICOM IC-2730 dual band radio to attach the control head to the radio body. ICOM's bracket is way to expensive so I designed my own. I use my IC-2730 on a desk in the shack and with this mount the controls are easily accessible and firmly attached to the radio unit. The viewing angle is adjustable so you could use this in a desk or shelf installation.

The radio back plate slides into the slots in the radio unit for quick installation and removal. There is enough space behind the control unit for the cables to be inserted.

Printing info:
- Print 2 of the small brackets
- Use supports to print the radio back plate
- Print all parts with the back plate facing down

Additional hardware required:
- 2 x 3mm hex screws to attach the control head pack plate to the brackets
- 4 x 3mm hex screws to attach mounting brackets to radio back plate
