# Idasen Desk Controller – 4.3″ Waveshare Touchscreen Mount
## Overview
A lightweight, purpose‑built bracket for integrating a **Waveshare 4.3 inch (800 × 480) DSI touchscreen** and **Raspberry Pi 4** under the front edge of an **IKEA Idasen sit/stand desk**.
Paired with the companion software (Flask + WebSocket) it becomes a fully‑embedded height‑control interface.
* Single‑piece print – no supports
* X‑shaped spine minimises weight while keeping the panel rigid
* Filleted hinge area absorbs flex and reduces snap risk
* All cabling and the Pi are hidden behind the screen for a clean front view
* Total print weight ≈ 30 g (PLA) – complete assembly with Pi + display ≈ 300 g
