UPDATE: Igaro Lid V1 is for a direct plugin of a USB-C cable.

This case has been designed to make the Igaro D2 as weatherproof as possible. The D2 unit itself is not waterproof. I've designed the case so that the D2 is 'locked' into it and will not rattle around inside.

The lid and the base push together in a very snug fit. Is this to keep the weather out, so it can take a bit of effort to pull them apart again. The USB-C to USB adapter is the sacrificial component which is exposed to the elements. It is much cheaper to replace is, if needed, than to replace the D2. The D2 can be inside the case and siliconed closed with the power lead and the USB-C adapter inserted later through the lid. Again, this is a snug fit to make it as weatherproof as possible. A small amount of silicone can be applied around the power lead and the USB-C adapter to make it more weatherproof.
