Ikea Billy Drill Guide

I had some Oxberg doors for my Billy bookcases, but the bookcases were of a slightly older design that didn't have pre-drilled holes for the hinge mounts. I designed and printed this drill guide to help me put holes in the right place. If your Billy bookcase doesn't have continuous columns of holes all the way from the bottom to the top, this might help you.Insert the drill guide pegs into existing shelf mount holes, then use a 1/16" drill bit to drill a pair of holes into the side of your Billy bookcase. You'll want to use the door hinge locations as a guide to figure out exactly which pair of holes to use.
