Ikea electric train using 2XAAA batteries

As promised from my other design inspired by other Ikea type electric trains. Here is my version using std AAA battery cells x 2. It uses 2 small springs as contacts, thin wire, a couple of screws and a micro miniature slide switch 13x7 mm approx from Ebay. The drive uses a twin axle miniature motor and gearbox widely available. Video instructions on Youtube.

By adding weight to the front of the engine (I set an 11mm ball bearing into the frame under the front) and by adding the hitch to the back with a small magnetic ball glued in, this train was able to pull 3 small carriages up the grey rocky hill type bridge.
