Ikea Light Hanger

I have put up a few of Ikea's various pedant lights for myself and friends and always found it a real pain to attach them to the ceiling!… the instructions show a cup hook is required…. but they don't supply one in the box and you only find out when you unpack it!…. I have also found it difficult to get a cup hook to hold in plasterboard ceiling unless there is a joist behind it. So thus I came up with this simple design which has worked well on recent installations…. hope somebody finds
