This bracket lowers the IKEA Markus chair armrests while keeping the original armrests. I made 3 versions with different height profiles.
The small version lowers the armest by ~5cm (this is enough for most cases). The medium by about ~7,5cm and the large ~10cm. The larger than smaller versions all have the previous options, so If you are not sure what height you want or if it needs to be variable you can use the large one.
For every armrest you need 2x bracket which are assembled by using 2x M8x60 allen bolt and 2x M8 nuts. So for one chair:
4x bracket
4x M8x60 allen bolt
4x M8 Nut
Simply put the armrest inside one bracket, put the other one over it and fasten using the M8 bolts/nuts (do not overtighten). Then the whole assembly can be attached to the chair again with the original hex bolts (again, do not overtighten but make sure there is no wobble).
Tested with PLA / PETG / PC with 10% Gyroid infill. The medium and larger ones I have not tested with PLA, so cannot vouch for
