Version 2 is a lay flat one, with a small void in the centre to improve the wall thickness. This ought to be best for layer adhesion and strength.

Obviously not as strong as the metal ones, but good for a 60mm shelf which needs a bit of support at the front, or small shelves which won't be loaded too much.
