Ikea Skadis Spool Bracket

Made for the top of Skadis Panels. To Mount - Follows pics -Push bracket straight back to wall, then slide down with tabs behind the Skadis panel. Don't try to ‘hook’ the bracket on or off.I put a wall anchor behind the top screw, but bracket is not structural, so go light on it. :)Made to accept a T12 florescent tube guard, NOT the normal T8, can be found at Lowes.I twisted a 6.5' cheap led tape into the tube, and just cut slot in one end to slide the tape out under the cap.Bracket is deep enough to have an LED light strip on top, behind the spools.With just the LED tape lit, it's pretty cool. Disclaimers -This for hanging EMPTY spools. Be warned.Tube guard is super flimsy, this 29" span is a stretch, with empty spools.Design is pretty basic, I'd rate it a C.‘Bottom’ side of screwed in standoff prints rough at .2mm layer (can be seen in pics).Not overly designed, or engineered (at all).Get's the job done, in at least an aesthetically neutral way. :) Enjoy,HL
