IKEA Skadis Wall Mount System

This project offers a simple and sturdy solution for connecting or mounting IKEA SKÅDIS pegboards using a custom-designed 3D-printed rail system. The rail can be attached with double-sided tape (I used 25 mm wide tape), making it ideal for surfaces where drilling is not an option. For extra stability, the rail can also be mounted to the SKÅDIS board using M3.5 or M4 screws and nuts. You can use regular metal screws or, as I did, 3D-printed ones. The system is fully modular: individual rail pieces can be seamlessly connected using a slide-in connector piece. Of course, the rail can also be used on its own without a connector. This specific version is optimized for joining two 240 × 200 × 5 mm SKÅDIS panels. I've created several other versions as well—feel free to contact me if you need a different one!
