This is just a quick little mesh model I made to transform the original ball and socket mount into a table stand for IKEA VALLHORN. It is a functional model, but don't expect it to look pretty. These motion sensors are designed to be mounted up high on the wall, near the ceiling and looking down. That is why its documentation show the sensor's detection arc has a significant downward sweep while it can barely sense anything above the sensor's top. I much rather have the sensor conveniently placed on a table, where it is easy to adjust its orientation. The issue is, the table would block the sensor's vertical detection range. And the sensor is not designed to placed upside down as the top is slanted. That is why I whipped up this table stand to lift the sensor off the table, and flip it upside down. In this configuration, I can place it on a coffee table and have it detect me climbing up the stairs!
