Illusionist Locket

This Locket is based on the locket from the movie "The Illusionist".

Basically there are 8 pieces, a custom made axel (made with a paper clip and small bead), and then a straight axel (also a paper clip). It is held together by small 2 mm diameter x 1 mm deep circular magnets and epoxy. The pieces fit together to form 4 layers. The middle 2 layers are stuck together using the epoxy while the top and bottom layers are held on by the magnets.

Keep in mind that this was a gift and could definitely be improved if given more time but this was a first draft. The locket was designed so that it fit my axel, one would have to recreate my axel or else change the cut out for the axel in the middle layer.
