"Armored column, this is Storm 6!" the radio screamed over the roar of gunfire. "We’re being overrun! Where’s the rest of the squadron? Where are the heavies?!" "Perceval 215 responding," the commander replied, his voice flat. "The rest of my column is ash on the ridge. I’m all that’s left." A low, scarred tank rolled out of the dust, it's main cannon already sending a round into a dense mass of the oncoming foe. Dozens of the chittering horde were swarming toward the desperate troopers, already down to the last dregs of their ammunition.
