This is a simple base for a small LED light I recently bought to use as a small fill light for print pics.The base that comes with the light (the last pic in the gallery) is designed for wall mounting and not ideal for table/desktop use.It attaches to the light with a metal ball nut that threads onto an M4 hex screw.My design reuses the existing screw and ball nut; just pop the supports out from the top (you can use either the M4 screw that the original base uses or a screwdriver to push the supports free) push the screw through the bottom until the threads pop out of the top and screw the ball in place. I also added slots for three 6mmx2mm neodymium magnets in case you want to make it a more versatile mount. A dab of CA glue is needed to keep each magnet in place. To remove the support material from the magnet slots, a small pick or something pointy works well. I printed the base out of generic black PETG.
