Some of the accessory cases from Milwaukee use a small black latch which I find difficult to open, especially with one hand. So I created this new latch which is larger for better leverage and to give your finger more room to grab. Milwaukee makes a few different case styles, so make sure to check the photos to make sure your latch looks like the one I have. They seem to refer to this model of case as the “customizable accessory case designed for use in PACKOUT”. I printed this in PLA and so far it's holding up. But if your boxes are used in hot environments you may need a more heat-resistant filament such as PETG or ABS. In case you're interested, the filaments I used in the photos are from Polymaker: PolyTerra (aka Panchroma Matte PLA) in Army Red, which is a near perfect match for Milwaukee red. PLA PRO in Dark Grey, which I find to be impressive for functional parts.
