A small improvised light stage using a cellphone (fitted for iPhone 8 with cover). The top is a plastic standard Petri dish, which I sanded a bit to disperse the LED. I plan to glue a piece of polarizing foil to the inside and use this in my lecture with a cheap USB microscope, to demonstrate polarizing effects in crystals.
