I'm cheap. I didn't want to pay the big bucks they charge for these in style industrial look lights. I made the mounts from some wood that Home Depot was throwing out and planed it down to a consistent size.
The cord is some bulk extension cord cut to length:

I wired the sockets in and plugs on the other end. My house has an outlet that is controlled by a switch on the wall, so this was perfect. Both lights come on when I hit the switch.
The cage follows the contour of a LED 40W ST19 Filament bulb. Some places call them Edison bulbs:

The top of the cage fits the diameter of the socket and has a split in it so you can tighten it down with a #6 bolt. Here is the socket I used:
