I wanted a stand for my Ingco pliers set that held them tip-down. Since they have springs in the hinge I didn't want them hanging upright, and they have a nice ergo feature that makes a good stable catch for placing them face down.
Print two of the frames, then as many of the spacers as you want (if any). The number on the spacer does not include the bar that it prints with, just the internal usable space! You can cut some adhesive anti-slip pads for the bottom, roughly 7x20mm.
There's a 13mm spacer for one end that keeps a 20mm width consistent. There's a tube/thimble for the other end. There are also 20mm spacers and 25mm wide spacers if you need them. Two versions of all - one that has beveled edges on all four sides, one that has just a simple cylinder on one side for spacing (better print economy).
Assemble it with eight #4 (you can get away with #6) wood screws and a 1/4" dowel. Each base will take 6mm of dowel in the receiver, so add up the following:
6mm for each fram
