Instax Mini Evo Macro Len

I bought one of these 29mm diameter/26mm FL lenses for a different purpose, that didnt work out. So I thought it would make a fun macro lens for the Instax Evo, instead:

I remixed this nice lens cap from alrice86 to hold the lens in place and then added a retaining ring (which im just gluing in place with hot glue) to hold the glass in. The original cap fits the camera pretty well but I added a little gaffers tape on the inside to increase the friction and decrease the chances that the whole thing will fall off the camera!

The results were much better than I expected, so I am posting it here in case anyone else find this handy. Easy to remix for other cheap bi-convex lenses.
