Instax Wide insert for 9x12cm

Adapter to use Instax Wide film in a 9x12cm plate camera.

I am using this with the Kodak AG combination film and plate holders. These holders have a spring loaded pressure plate which presses on the entire insert and keeps it flat. This insert will not work as well with the more common glass plate holders, because it is so thin and flexible that the springs in the holder will bend it and the film will not be flat. It might work if the springs were removed or if it was made thicker.

In a dark bag, take the cartridge out of the camera, push a sheet out of the cartridge, and slide it under the clips of the adapter. Beware that the film is very sensitive (ISO 800). After exposure the sheet can be pushed back into the cartridge through the slot to be developed in the camera.
