Insulin Pump Modular Belt

The wearable I decided to build is a modular, insulin pump belt for the Autodesk Fusion 360 Challenge.

A common problem with diabetics that rely on insulin pumps is that they must always have nearby, a glucose meter, their insulin pump, emergency insulin and syringes as well as high carb snacks.

The modular insulin belt makes it easier to carry those items by providing a series of groves where one can attach pouches, holders, and battery banks for their insulin pump.

As the name suggest the modular insulin pump belt can be modified to the individuals needs. It can provide as many pouches for snacks, equipment and bio-waste storage as the user needs as well as adjust itself to any user’s body size.

The wearable keeps the individual safe by providing easy access to life saving equipment.

Since the wearable is a belt it will not become an additional part of someone’s routine since a belt is already an integrated part of daily life, that is design for extended use.
