For the lights, I bought a 'sewing machine led light strip' for £5 off amazon (https://www.amazon.co.uk/Machine-Houkiper-Waterproof-Cabinet-Background/dp/B07W55VHKG/ref=sr_1_8?dchild=1&keywords=sewing+machine+light+strip&qid=1628550589&sr=8-8). They come with an adhesive backing so it's simply a peel and stick situation. I added tape for security.
