Intex Inlet Deflector

I wanted to get better water flow in out above ground pool. I like this design;

but I am not able to take apart existing inlet.

So, I made these clips that snap into inlet grid. Clips are attached to standard PVC 45 deg elbow.

An advantage to this design is: it is removable - I take it out when pool is in use, so there is no risk of someone bumping into it.

I used inserts and 4 mm bolts. I have included a design with pilot hole if you do not have access to inserts
