Intex Pool Pump Impeller Replacement

My pool pump began screaming at me, and upon inspection I noted that the pump (Intex SFX1000, 0.16HP) was no longer moving water. After some soul searching and a deep dive on YouTube I discovered that the impeller blades had all broken off (black part).

This redesign is based on measurements of the original and images that I was able to find of the original part. It fits, and it works. I printed this one (red part) in PLA+ for proof of concept, but obviously there are better materials.

The part was designed in Fusion 360.
