I needed something to secure my "mini" computer with. Which I use exclusively for 3D printing. This way I can do other computer things. I am a big fan of the arcade game Space Invaders so came up with this.
I stretched out the arms, to offer more support. It prints out fairly fast on the standard nozzle. As always, I cut off, or melted away any flash. You can adjust the height as you need, before printing. I didn't need a very large one for this. The pics are of what it looks like.
I didn't use anything more than a skirt, & let the unit stand up as it printed. Easy enough. I will say that I am a fan of thin, easy to remove flash & supports. This one of course needs it on a few spots. You can print it in three pieces if you'd like, & glue it all together, but it wasn't any faster. You will want to cut the file in your program of course. I cleared out the flash, as the other printer heated up for the next project. It's that quick.
I used AnyCubic's Grey PETG
