Ion Thruster

This reverse-engineered ion thruster prototype was designed in SOLIDWORKS using an electrostatic ionic wind concept to generate airflow without conventional fan blades. The system operates using high-voltage low-current electricity, estimated around 10–30 kV DC, to accelerate ionized air particles between emitter wires and collector electrodes. Potential applications include blade-less fans, silent laptop coolers, compact ventilation systems, electronic cooling devices, and futuristic low-noise airflow technology. The design offers minimal moving parts, lightweight construction, and quieter operation compared to traditional fan systems.
