This is a multi-purpose mount for an iPad Mini. It works in both Landscape and Portrait modes.
Primary function: Snugly fits into a cup holder on my boat (Bayliner 175), near the helm to display nautical charts / use navigation software. The internal dimensions of the cupholder are 90mm. So if you have a 90mm cup holder you're all set. :)
Secondary function: Desktop holder for Video Chats, reading books, watching movies, etc.
The fit is very snug. You can hold it upside down and shake it without the iPad mini coming out.
The photo shows an earlier version. Since then I lowered the front and back mounts to not obscure the screen as much, and because not as much support in back is needed. I also added a round opening for the Home button or the camera.
It holds an iPad Mini at a 15 degree angle.
