Ipad stand as Mac side car

Ipad stand as Mac side car (use with mac stand)I alway use iPad as extended screen for mac but when I use Mac stand to elevate it to my head level it's difficult to find place to fit ipad in front of mac which I consider to be the best place to fit small extended screen.
