Iphone 7 Case

This is an Iphone 7 case that I designed in Solidworks. The case should be printed in TPU or any flexible material, because of its tight fit. The steps below can guide you in easily creating a phone case for any phone. I recommend that when doing this you use a parametric CAD program, like OnShape, Solidworks, Fusion 360, Inventor, or Creo.

Steps:

Step 1: I found an Iphone 7 SLDPRT file on Grab Cad, however this can be done with a STEP file too.

Step 2: I create a profile that would surround the outer edge of the phone. After that I create sketch on the outer profile of the phone and swept the profile.

Step 3: I filled the back of the phone case in, and left a cut out for the camera.

Step 4: I create cut outs in the bottom of the case for the charging port, and the speakers. To do this I put the profiles of the port and speakers into my sketch. I then put slots around them and used an extrude cut to remove the area.
